Join Teresa Crickmar this April for a ten-week jewellery and small-scale silversmithing course.
With small class sizes of just six students, you’ll receive personalized support at your own pace and skill level. Your friendly and experienced tutor will guide you through the fundamentals, offering suggested projects with step-by-step instructions, as well as the opportunity to work on more advanced personal pieces.
You'll receive inspiration for projects in advance, but creativity is encouraged—design your own pieces for yourself, loved ones, or even to sell. Weekly demonstrations and handouts cover essential techniques, including metal piercing, Keum Boo, granulation, fold forming, and soldering. Optional half-term group projects may include sand casting, brooch pin fabrication, forged bangles, and enameling.
Throughout the class, enjoy complimentary refreshments, including sweet treats, cold drinks, tea, fresh coffee, and a variety of herbal teas.
